Mumbwa GMA in the Western Province, is the Prime Kafue Region, bordering the Kafue river and the Kafue National Park; it is renowned for excellent Lion and Leopard as well as the finest Sable trophies \u2013 Mumbwa West still holds No1 position on SCI record book for Sable \u2013 each year we harvest very impressive trophies. The Crawshays Defassa Waterbuck is indigenous to the Kafue Basin. Other quality trophies in this area are Baboon, Chobe Bushbuck, Bushpig, Crocodile, Grysbuck, Lichtenstein Hartebeest, Hippo, Hyean, Impala, Greater Kudu, Oribi, Puku, Warthog and Zebra. There are also excellent Buffalo, although not in large numbers.<\/p>\n
Luangwa Valley has excellent Lion, Leopard, and great quality Buffalo; also available are Crocodile, Hippo, Puku, Cookson’s Wildebeest (indigenous to Luangwa valley) Baboon, Chobe Bushbuck, Common Duiker, Hyena, Impala, Southern Greater Kudu, Warthog, Sharpe’s Grysbuck, Common Waterbuck, Bushpig and Zebra. Late season Elephant hunts have produced some good tuskers. This, in the North-East of the Nyampala Concession at the foothills of the Muchinga Escarpment, where in late season the only water source is the Mutinondo river. This is a tough hunt in extreme heat and reserved for the hardy hunters.<\/p>\n
